What is the best way to get around campus and the city of Oxford?
Walking, bicycle, or city bus.

Does the bus stop at Oxford West?
Yes, we have 2 bus stops, one on the north side and one on the east side of the property.

Are the apartments furnished?
You have the option to rent with or without furniture. The furniture option is $25 per month and includes: dining room table and chairs, living room tall lamp, bed, dresser, desk & chair with lamp.

Are utilities included?
High-speed internet, DIRECTV, Water, trash and recycling is included.

Are there laundry facilities?
Yes, we have 3 laundry rooms onsite.  Additionally, our townhomes include washer & dryer hoockups.

Is DIRECTV included?
Yes, DIRECTV and high-speed internet are included in your rent.

Can students bring a car and is parking available?
Yes, we have ample parking available.

Are pets allowed in Student Housing Apartments?
Yes, cats are allowed in all units and dogs are allowed in select townhouses.

Where do students pay their rent?
You can make payments with personal checks, money orders, or by debit or credit card! These payments can be paid in the office, over the phone, or online!

Do I need rental insurance for my personal belongings?
We do not require rental insurance, but we do recommend it.

When should I get on the waitlist?
As soon as you decide to live here because apartments are assigned on a first come basis.

When will I know if I am assigned an apartment?
Your leasing agent will contact you when we have an apartment available that matches your preferences.

Do I need a parking permit?
Yes, the parking permits are free upon moving in.

Can faculty/staff rent an apartment?
Yes, with an approved application.

When is rent due?
Rent is due on the 1st day of each month.

What is the deposit amount?
The deposit is $ 250.00 per person/unless renting the entire unit.

What happens to my rent if my roommate(s) move out?
If you are in an individual lease, it does not affect your rent because you are on a separate lease.

Who should I contact if I have a maintenance problem?
You can call the office during working hours; or after hours, you would call the after-hours maintenance emergency hotline.

Who do I contact if I lock myself out of my apartment?
During office hours just come to the office for a key or after hours call the after-hours maintenance emergency hotline.

How do I apply for housing?
We can do all of your application paperwork in the office or via email.  We also have online applications available on our website!

Can I apply online?
Yes! Visit our website at www.OxfordWestApartments.com and click on the "Lease Now Online" tab.

Is the deposit refundable?
Yes, the security deposit is refundable.

When do I sign the lease?
You can sign your lease as soon as you are assigned a specific apartment. 

Where can I add money to my laundry card?
The laundry card machine is located in the clubhouse, right outside the office area.

Is there shopping close to the apartments?
Yes, everything you would need is within walking distance. Kroger's, restaurants, pharmacies, and shopping is right across the street. The new Oxford Library is across the street and will be opening in 2015.

Is Oxford West a noisy community?
No, it is a nice quiet community for the serious student.
